Who is Axia Telecom?

Axia Telecom is the connectivity and communications brand of Axia Computer Systems Ltd, a Watford-based UK IT partner trading since 1994. Same engineers, same helpdesk, same accreditations.

Where are you based?

Axia House, 3D Regal Way, Watford, Hertfordshire WD24 4YJ. We deploy nationwide across the UK.

Do you only work with existing Axia customers?

+

No. We work with any UK-registered SMB. Many of our Telecom customers came to us specifically for connectivity and voice, not IT support.

Are you tied to a single carrier?

+

No — we are carrier-agnostic. We hold framework agreements with Openreach, CityFibre, Gamma, TalkTalk Business, Vodafone, EE and others, and pick the right network for each site.

How does billing work?

+

A single monthly invoice covers every service, with per-line, per-SIM and per-extension breakdowns. UK direct debit, GBP, no surprise FX fees.

What support do you provide?

A 24/7 UK helpdesk staffed by our own engineers, with documented SLAs and monthly service reports for managed customers.

Can we keep our existing numbers?

+

Yes. We port every existing geographic and non-geographic number, and handle the carrier paperwork end-to-end.

What happens at the 2027 PSTN switch-off?

+

Openreach is retiring analogue and ISDN lines by January 2027. We migrate you to SIP or hosted voice ahead of time, with no service gap.

Do you support international numbers?

Yes — international DDIs and termination across 70+ countries through tier-1 carriers.

Is there a minimum contract?

+

Standard terms are 12, 24 or 36 months. We will quote whichever shape suits your business.

Will it work with our existing handsets?

In most cases yes — Yealink, Poly, Cisco and Snom SIP handsets can be re-provisioned. We will confirm during the audit.

What internet do we need?

A reliable broadband connection with QoS. We can supply matching connectivity and 4G/5G failover where uptime is critical.

Can we integrate with our CRM?

+

Yes — click-to-dial and screen-pop integrations are available for Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, Salesforce and most popular CRMs.

How is call recording stored?

+

Encrypted at rest in UK data centres, with configurable retention periods from 30 days to 7+ years for regulated industries.

How long does a leased line take to install?

+

Typically 45–90 working days. We provide a tracked install plan and 4G/5G bridging connectivity from day one if you need it sooner.

Can we use our existing router?

+

Often yes, particularly for FortiGate and Cisco Meraki estates. We will confirm compatibility during scoping.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

+

Yes — IT support partners and resellers can buy connectivity through Axia Telecom on agency terms.

What SLA do you offer?

99.95% availability on dedicated leased lines with 4-hour fix and pro-rata service credits, evidenced monthly.

What's the minimum SIM order?

+

There is no minimum — we activate single SIMs for pilots and scale to tens of thousands without changing tariff.

Can we keep SIMs on the same number when changing networks?

+

Yes — multi-network SIMs steer between carriers automatically and keep the same identifier.

Do you supply the hardware?

+

Yes — sensors, routers and trackers are supplied, pre-provisioned and shipped UK-wide.

How is billing handled?

+

One consolidated invoice per month covering every SIM, with per-SIM breakdown available in the portal.

Can you migrate from our current host?

Yes — we handle migrations from cPanel, Plesk, AWS, Azure and most UK hosts with no downtime.

Is hosting UK-based?

+

Yes — primary hosting is in UK data centres. Multi-region setups are available on request.

Do you support WordPress?

+

Extensively. Managed WordPress includes core and plugin updates, security hardening, and a staging environment.

What about email?

+

Hosted Exchange and Microsoft 365 mailboxes can be supplied and managed alongside the website hosting.

Can we mix monthly and annual licences?

Yes — we can blend annual commitment licences with monthly flex licences to match seasonal headcount.

Do you handle the migration?

Yes — mail, calendar, contacts, OneDrive/Google Drive and shared sites are migrated by our engineering team.

What about MFA and security?

+

MFA, conditional access and a security baseline are part of every deployment — not an upsell.

Do you back up Microsoft 365?

+

Yes — we strongly recommend it and supply third-party backup with point-in-time restore.
